Mamba @worldsoffun has unfortunately turned the MCBR on full blast. You literally crawl back to the station now. Also, they’re only running one train… and it’s taking around 5 minutes to launch. Very very slow line for a very trimmed ride. 😢 Also only one green train? Weird

Gateway Gardens at @worldsoffun has decor for FIFA. If a lot of those guests decide to visit, the park is nowhere ready to handle an influx of visitors.

Cyclone Sam’s has opened for the season. Original safety video has returned to the queue live TVs. Fog and strobes and other effects are back on the actual ride @worldsoffun

Prowler @worldsoffun received some additional Titan track this off season - but not where you’d expect it. They replaced the final turn that leads into the final brakes. Not sure why the crossover turnaround wasn’t done instead as that’s still the roughest section of the ride.

Oceans of Fun @worldsoffun is having a rough opening weekend. Most slide complexes, wave pool, lazy river, water fortress are all closed. The tube/drop slide complex IS open and Aruba Tuba. Definitely not an ideal opening

Timber Wolf at @worldsoffun is open!!! Some new thematic elements like this chandelier at the entrance. The exit goes into Bicentennial Square again. Most of the replaced track is the final run back into the station. There’s also 1/2 hills (that go under the lift) replaced.

Lots of progress has been made on Project 2027 at @SDCAttractions The station appears to have been framed out since our last visit. Also interesting to see large rocks have been moved in for landscaping. Queue to new ride will be in this area.

Oasis LOZ Update: The new Plunge drop tower now has its ride gondola/seats on. Also it appears that the first supports for one of the rollercoasters has gone up.

@cnkparkhopper Ok like I don’t hate it, but I’m not in love with it either. I think it’ll eventually grow on me. It just looks… weird? to me right now

The amount of people I’ve seen posting about being butthurt about the guitar colors is insane. Like calm the f down. It’s supposed to look fun and goofy, and that’s exactly what it portrays. I think it looks fantastic.
