@Platypuss_10 SU-35’s often fly in two’s, so any attempt from the F-16 to shoot it down would have resulted in its own destruction. Secondly, SU-35 is a super aircraft to the F-16, so this essentially was a frame mog in the skies.

Excelente trabalho do @RuiPinto_FL ao proporcionar-nos as comunicações entre um drone militar MQ-9 Reaper (RPA, Remote Piloted Aircraft) call sign CROW41 descolado das Lajes e a caminho do Médio Oriente. No contacto com o Controle de Tráfego Aéreo de Lisboa informa que voa a FL260 (26 mil pés) e tem o código 2271 inserido no transponder. Pouco depois o controle de Lisboa transfere o MQ-9 para o controle de Sevilha o que que confirma que aquilo do espaço aéreo espanhol estar fechado a aeronaves americanas destinadas a missões de combate no Golfo é pura ficção. Já se suspeitava mas é sempre bom confirmar. E agora perguntam vocês: se este drone não é tripulado então como se fazem as comunicações? Muito simples: o piloto confortavelmente instalado na sua poltrona da Ground Control Station situada algures nos Estados Unidos vai seguindo o voo até ao seu destino final e sempre que necessário comunica com o controle de tráfego aéreo dos países por onde vai passando. Em missões de combate o MQ-9 voa habitualmente a FL250 em cruzeiro muito embora o seu teto operacional possa atingir FL500
