Bleh, see it this way. Recently you posted about how you and your partner almost broke up over a disagreement. But you later reconciled. But the same day that happened you tweeted something sweet about your relationship. You admitted yourself that people didn’t know there was trouble underground. They only saw the good on the outside. So, it means your relationship and maybe partner had flaws, but you only say the best things about both in public because you’ve accepted that their good overwhelms the flaws. Why? You love and accept them. If you’d claimed you love them but you constantly criticize your man, hammering on his flaws and failings, no one would believe you. That’s similar to what you’re doing with Peter Obi. If Peter is your candidate like you claim, it means you have seen more good, overwhelming good in him than the negative to the point that the positive ought to excuse the negatives. But if you then come online to constantly criticize what you perceive as his flaws then people have the right to question your motives. It is even more questionable what you’re doing because your premises lack reasonable argumentative force. You say his simplicity and humility is performative theatrics. That’s whom he’s always been. As governor he was that modest. But you quickly impugned his character and behavior as performative deception because you already had a bias towards him. You mentioned his position on “core policy issues”. That’s sounds deep until it’s stripped down. What policy issues? Insecurity? He says the current government is implicit since they can’t solve it. Economy? He says we must become a producer economy and not a consumer one. That’s how you create prosperity. Education? His track record speaks for him. Healthcare? He donated more to healthcare than most people. Tax? He says you shouldn’t tax those you didn’t prosper. You mentioned his post on tax. Even the administration which made the tax law has admitted error. So what is it in Peter Obi, both character and competence wise makes him an evil that you choose as a lesser one? This is a politically-clean man. Nothing has been found against him. Your tweet’s sole purpose was controversy as stated by you. Now you’ve got that, and those rightly criticizing you, you’re calling them as being in a cult. I just hope you see these things.
