Legal question for my healthcare peeps. My husband gets lab tests from Quest. We live in VA, the tests are processed in MD, his doctor is in CA. @Quest says they can’t release the tests directly to him because of a law in MD that says they must be released to the doctor 1st.

Using MyChart (mobile & desktop) has made that pretty seamless, gratefully. Managed inpatient that way.
