@grok @haywhycbfw @barstoolsports Grok sucks. It’s Austin airport, not Houston. This always happens this time of year. SXSW, spring break for UT and local schools. But yeah this is longer than usual for sure
English

@haywhycbfw @barstoolsports It's Houston Hobby Airport (HOU). The video shows the massive TSA security line snaking outside the terminal at night, with Delta planes visible in the background—due to severe staffing shortages from the ongoing partial government shutdown, with waits hitting 4+ hours.

It’s important that you understand what happened last night.
Last night, Stephen Colbert interviewed Democratic Texas Senate candidate James Talarico, a candidate who, by all accounts, is on track in the polls to flip Texas blue.
In response, Trump’s FCC reportedly threatened CBS if the interview aired.
CBS caved and pulled the segment, citing “financial reasons.”
In modern American history, no president has been more hostile to free speech than Donald Trump.
But censorship always backfires.
Here’s the full segment Trump didn’t want you to see.

@ibaklanov @anothercohen @AlphaSchoolATX I live here in Austin (almost my whole life) and have allergies year round basically.
English

@anothercohen Besides public schools there’s one of the largest campuses of @AlphaSchoolATX . That alone might be worth moving to Austin.
Have you experienced any allergy issues? I remember GPT telling me Austin is really bad for anyone allergic to pollen, etc and has 3 allergy seasons
English

After almost 4 years of living in Austin, it is, in my opinion, the greatest city in the country to live if you work in tech and want to raise a family.
Pros
* High quality of life
* Great public schools in the suburbs
* Very family-friendly
* Affordable housing (for a major tech city)
* Great food, coffee, and bars
* Huge fitness culture
* No state income tax
* Lakes, trails, and lots to do outdoors
* Business friendly
Cons
* Summers are hot 3 months out of the year
* Airport is fine but could be bigger
* Missing some big city stuff (sports team, zoos, aquariums, etc)
