I just deployed OpenClaw as my executive assistant on VPS (thinking about getting a Mac Mini to have its own hardware). Not for hype. For survival. Running a 4-person AI development firm while working a W-2 means things slip through cracks. Follow-ups get missed. Project updates live in my head instead of a system. That’s the invisible tax I talk about with clients—except I was paying it too. The irony of building AI systems for clients while drowning in my own operational chaos wasn’t lost on me.
