@dineshdasa1 Sir, in Gujarat Engineering Services mains exam pattern the subjective paper of Gujarati and English languages are not much relevant to the work of engineers. UPSC and other such exams for engineering posts generally have only objective papers of languages.

I would like to begin the New Year with inviting suggestions from the candidates on this and many such issues related to mains. Candidates are requested to paste their views/opinions/suggestions here. Appropriate one would be accommodated. New Year Greetings to all.....

@dineshdasa1 Also in Gujarat engineering services prelim exam the syllabus of general studies including many topics like state and national history, geography, polity, languages, etc which are not much relevant to work of engineers. These topics were also changed as per new syllabus by UPSC.
