i was never beat as a kid. My sisters were, but they only got beat after hitting my parents first. Both my older sisters abused my mom and dad. But i never laid a hand on my mom, and i DID push my dad once, and when he hit the floor, my mom called the cops and i was arrested. I sat in juvy for 24 hours before my mom came to pick me up. I was told shed pick me up at 9am but she let me sit there until 6 pm. Scared the shit out of me and from that day on i never disrespected them again
