Thanks @TopPhysicist for the visit to @WarwickPhysics yesterday. Very nice and interesting seminar 👏. Lots of interesting developments in jet physics

Thanks @MariaUbiali3 for visiting us in @WarwickPhysics to talk about the state-of-the-art in Parton Distribution Functions 😀

New @WarwickPhysics preprint on calibrating tiny curvature biases with the @LHCbExperiment. Led by @WarwickPhysics PDRA Menglin Xu @ERC_Research in collaboration with @WillDoesPhysics et al. from @Edinburgh_PPE 😀arxiv.org/abs/2311.04670

Thanks @JoshMcFayden for visiting us in @WarwickPhysics yesterday 😃. So cool to see the early physics results from @FASERexperiment

Really nice review article on data processing by friend and @LHCbExperiment collaborator @particleist 👍

Was a lot of fun writing this hopefully pedagogical review of real-time data processing in collider experiments with my namesake Vlada Reković! If you were curious why we process data in real-time, how we do it, and what the future holds, this is for you. arxiv.org/abs/2310.04756

Welcoming recent @WarwickPhysics Ph.D student, Isobel Mawby, now at Lancaster, back for a seminar on @DUNEScience

Thanks to Jonathan Burr for visiting us for a @WarwickPhysics EPP seminar on the novel Anubis experiment

My hot take on this crucial question: all papers should be accompanied with a 50+ page pedagogical PRD companion paper. 😉

I voted and if you are fast enough you’ll see what I voted for. Anyway here it is: From my side, while I’d love sometimes to see how parts have been done, I see way too much room for people figuring out new physics from validation regions that I rather not.

Very pleased and honoured to receive this (if still a bit in shock) :) thanks to all at #iophepp2023 for a great few days! Great to catch up with colleagues from around the U.K. #physics

New version of the @LHCbExperiment version of the global mW plot. Congratulations to our @ATLASexperiment friends 👏

Thank you @kerivos1 for the extended @WarwickPhysics seminar visit. Sorry about @TJGershon asking questions on every slide 😂. Hope the @UoMparticle seminar went well today too.

@particleist Great thread @particlelist. Understatement to say a holiday will be well earned after these four years of effort in building the RTA project 👋

A large part of the last four years of my life was dedicated to building the real-time processing of @LHCbExperiment data. Curious about what we had to do, in terms of technology and people, to process three to four terabytes of data per second? Read on! 🧵
