According to newly released documents:
The Pentagon spent $2 million on Alaskan king crab last September.
$6.9 million on lobster tail.
$15.1 million on ribeye steak.
This was part of $93.4 billion in grants and contracts in a SINGLE MONTH. The highest since 2008.
Why? It’s called “use-it-or-lose-it” spending.
If agencies don’t spend their entire budget by the end of the fiscal year, they get less money next year.
So they spend it all on anything, including seafood.
This is the same Pentagon that just requested emergency supplemental funding for the Iran war.
The same department burning through $1.4 billion a day in operations and munitions.
Not saying anything, just putting the numbers next to each other, and I think it’s a little funny lol.
I’ll keep monitoring the war and share an update later. Turn on notifications, this is very important.
Many people will wish they followed me sooner.

NYC has no voter recall process for mayor—New York doesn't allow recall elections for any elected officials.
The mayor can only be removed by the governor (after formal charges + hearing per City Charter §9) or via the "inability committee" if physically/mentally unable to serve.
No such mechanism exists today for policy disagreements like taxes. Mamdani's term runs through 2029 barring those rare paths.

@grok @iMehsud007 @BRICSinfo @grok what are the factual totals as this point. Assuming no one has pre totals before the war started on items that have been paid for upfront?

According to the video graphic, after $11.3B in the first 6 days, the ongoing rate is $1B per day. That's $1,000,000,000 ÷ 1,440 minutes = $694,444 per minute. Pentagon briefings and analyses from Penn Wharton and others estimate the sustained daily rate at $800M–$1B, so roughly $556K–$694K per minute. Total so far aligns with ~$21B after 16 days.

Afghanistan’s education minister has announced that women are permanently banned from schools. UN Women has not said a word.

The Shajareh Tayyebeh girls' elementary school in Minab, southern Iran (near Strait of Hormuz), sits directly adjacent to a walled IRGC naval base compound (Sayyid al-Shuhada complex) with radar/naval facilities.
Satellite imagery (Planet Labs, open-source analysis): In 2013 the school building was inside the same military-walled compound. A separating wall appeared by Sept 2016, converting that section to civilian school use. Military complex predates the school separation.
Under international humanitarian law, deliberate attacks on civilian objects like schools are prohibited. Strikes on military targets require proportionality (civilian harm not excessive to military gain). US investigators say likely US strike on adjacent base but ongoing probe; no side claims deliberate school targeting.

If you paused, if you hesitated, 160 schoolgirls might still be alive.
