Best part of a bear market is predicting what ahead lies for us in the next bull. Last cycle was so off for ETH, despite all that's been built on Ethereum, all the major institutions (ie Coinbase, BlackRock) relying on the network, all that's thriving in DeFi and stablecoins, and all the new institutional buying pressure with the ETH spot ETFs. Going back to 2020-2021, fundamentals clearly needed time catch up with price and we over-corrected as we normally do in crypto. Overshoot tops and bottoms. But now I contend once ETH reaches above $5k, you will see investor sentiment rapidly shift, using BTC's historical price action (see my fractals for BTC in 2017) to predict where ETH might go next. The fractals of BTC's past will hint at the path of ETH's future price action. We love fractals in crypto. And while I believe in @fundstrat's calls for $60k ETH will play out eventually, the most important milestone short term is for ETH the asset, to reprice and 10x this cycle to $20k and beyond. Estimating we get the usual 12-month bear started October 6th, 2025, I took another 12 months of fractals from BTC in 2017 just to map out what 12 months of price action might look like for ETH after the market's bottomed. Given past halving cycles, we could also chop around until the 2028 election but I personally think we could see some small deviation leading to the next market top in 2027-2028.

The reason Ethereum is so hated on CT is that, if it succeeds, there’s little reason for any other L1 construction to exist. However, a world where Ethereum loses is basically a free-for-all. Everyone and their shitcoins will be happy, but the world will have lost "everything" in the process. Ethereum is our last hope for a truly decentralized and credibly neutral internet of value.
