@DaleMurphy3 I was at the DBacks/Rockies game Saturday. I liked it because the pace of the game reminded me of the ‘80s. Guessing they’ll need to refine it over time for certain game situations, but it’s a good start. 12-5 game took just over 3 hours.

Thoughts on the pitch clock? I’ve been traveling… haven’t had a spare 2 hours to take in a game yet.

The missus and I are in Scottsdale for a Diamondbacks/Rockies spring training game. Not a Rockies fan but couldn’t resist taking a picture in front of their logo - in honor of my favorite player and short-time Rockie @DaleMurphy3.

I’ll admit it, I originally thought the MVP experience @DaleMurphy3 runs with @nancymurphy8 should be an hour long appearance and interaction. They had other plans. Their passion for getting to know fans of the 80s Braves (and current Braves) is something that is very inspiring to me. This isn’t a quick autograph appearance. This is them making lifelong friends with lifelong fans of those great TBS days. It’s a full day of baseball with us. Taking in a full day of baseball with them is the highlight of my baseball seasons. And I’m their Son 😂. See the in depth schedule in the link below. Tickets are almost sold out. @moreron For a family that didn’t have a lot of money, the $65 my dad spent on those cards may as well have been a million. I miss him every day, and those cards represent so much of who he was to me and for me.

@moreron Love your card and totally get the sentiment. My dad bought me the ‘77 and ‘78 Topps cards in 1986. Not the first Murphys I ever got (I think the ‘83 Topps was first for me, too), but I wouldn’t trade them for anything or any amount of money.

This is the card that started my Dale Murphy collection. A friend didn’t want it because of the damage and gave it to me. I loved the photo, so I gravitated toward Murph when I was buying cards. The 83T is a favorite design of mine, but this card specifically is priceless to me.

Surprised @DaleMurphy3 and @nancymurphy8 with some of the grandkids tonight to help remind us all what really matters.
