If you, much like myself, originally found Puberty to be disappointing, I might suggest you give it another try. While still not perfect, Puberty 2.0 contains a lot of bug fixes and addresses most of the issues I had with it the first time around.

I don’t know you but I do know that social contagions such as this have been well documented for a long time. While it doesn’t explain every case, yours for example, it can explain statistically significant spikes in a social phenomena. The difference with this one seems to be that instead of being treated as it is, a memetic-like behavior which can be unhealthy to the point of psychological or physical harm; it is being weaponized and amplified by political ideologues. Again, I’m not making a value judgement on you, or anyone in particular. I believe each individual is more valuable than any societal artifact or trend. CS Lewis puts it well here.

Let's be real fucking clear about a TikTok ban. It's all about the fact that there is a large quantity of trans youth, LGBTQ+ youth, finding themselves and people like them there. Republicans want this. The Heritage foundation wants this. It's part of their same stupid goal.
