He was brilliant where it almost avoided a double play though. A double play stopped the run but he didn’t make it easy. Safe at first and run scores. Almost 😅

🚨WEIRD PLAY ALERT🚨 This just happened in the @Marlins and @Dodgers game. You don't see a 4-unassisted ground into double play very often. While Edwards does tag Ohtani, he was ruled out of the baseline, and then Edwards tagged first base. The out of the baseline is an out credited to the fielder that the runner is avoiding, which is Edwards. Weird one for sure. @jaysonst do your thing, but I believe this is the first 4-unassisted ground ball double play since 7/24/1966 when the immortal Cesar Tovar of the Minnestoa Twins did it in the sixth inning against the Boston Red Sox.
