
Canada is under the rule of law. Those laws allow immigration from other countries and cultures. After qualifying, a citizenship ceremony is organized and people can become "Canadian" regardless of the geography of where they were born.
Also, if you are born abroad to a Canadian parent, you are a citizen (make sure to properly register the birth) - so the "must be born here" insistence is merely a banal personal opinion.
Thankfully we have immigration, or else our population would be declining.
I'm guessing by your lifestyle choice that you have not contributed to building the next generation by fathering and parenting - so actually, you are part of the necessity of having immigration.
