This is truly insane, and it should be front page news across America.
Denmark secretly deployed soldiers to Greenland prepared to blow up airport runways to stop a U.S. invasion.
They brought blood supplies to treat the wounded. France, Germany, Norway, and Sweden quietly coordinated against us.
This was not a drill.
This was our closest allies preparing to fight Americans.
Let that sink in. NATO allies. Countries whose soldiers have fought and died alongside ours for decades. They looked at this president and decided they had to prepare for the worst.
Fewer allies does not make America great. It makes us more isolated, more vulnerable, and it hands Russia and China exactly what they have always wanted: an America abandoned by its friends.

The transfer portal has screwed up college sports.
My bill is simple: you get 5 consecutive years to play 5 seasons and you get 1 transfer.
After that, if you transfer again, you sit out a year.
This will fix 80% of the issues in NIL today.

Sen. Tommy Tuberville introduced a new, narrow college sports bill today. It would set eligibility limits at a max of 5 consecutive years to play 5 consecutive seasons. It also allows athletes to transfer one time, any additional transfers requires sitting out a year.

@Milajoy suppose a state chooses only to pay workers to count ballots from 9-5. That’s not illegal and the Feds cannot order otherwise unless they pay the state for the overtime. Counting can take a while.

If the Supreme Court overturns the law that only ballots received on or before Election Day will be counted then 29 states are affected and have to change state law.

My read on the Operation Epic Fury is that Trump has achieved what he wanted to achieve.
He wanted to take out Iran's nuclear capability. He wanted to severely degrade its missile capability. He wanted to destroy its Navy which threatened the Strait of Hormuz and he wanted to decapitate the regime.
All achieved.
The next step, if we want to go further, would be a ground invasion.
And after our experience with Iraq, we don't want that. This isn't about nation building. This is about removing an existential threat.
That's why Trump's crew is seeking to make a deal now.
I predict this whole thing is over within two weeks.

Derek Chauvin is serving concurrent sentences of 22.5 years (state) for second-degree murder and 21 years (federal) for "violating George Floyd’s civil rights". He is expected to serve these sentences simultaneously, with federal good time allowing for release in roughly 17 to 21 years.
