Given that Hasan Piker will (as he demonstrated in 2024) urge his audience not to vote for a Democrat whose politics he doesn't find sufficiently pure, I think regarding him as an ally is foolhardy to say the least.

As a Jew I have this quaint belief that the Democratic Party should act as a bulwark against rising anti-Semitism, not willingly accept it into its midst (as the GOP has done for years).
The better question is why so many leftists and Never Trumpers think that embracing a guy who traffics in anti-Semitism — and says brain dead things like America deserved 9/11 — is a good idea
