“The name of the company is, @DraftKings. It's a cutting-edge technology company with a diversified revenue stream that includes NFTs and sports betting. The CEO @JasonDRobins said "sellers will regret that decision more than any other decision they have ever made in their life"

The downside is the super app is somewhat DOA IMHO. Also they would now have to pay state taxes on OSB in any new states they get and their PM access and any leverage they had in California, Texas and Florida is gone. Prediction markets gave them the ability to negotiate with states and tribes - not anymore if this bill passes. Now this is all predicted on if that bill passes…which it mostly won’t.

@MikeDzikowski @DraftKings @RailbirdHQ @DKPredictions Huh? Prediction markets being banned from sports contracts is huge for Draftkings. All the new gamblers from Kalshi have to come to regulated gambling operators and every new state gambling is legalized in there is already a large pool of bettors who got a taste from PMs

This is very par for the course here for $DKNG and the leadership at @DraftKings. They buy @RailbirdHQ and launch @DKPredictions. This was their entry into California, Texas and Florida. Now there’s a bipartisan bill that is looking to ban sports betting via PMs. Just as @JasonDRobins announces the “Super App” - what’s the plan when/if prediction market sports bets are banned? They need prediction markets to stay legal IMHO. @contessabrewer forbes.com/sites/nathango…

@TwittingAgain @DraftKings That was always the case - but they keep beating the same drum. They need to do more instead of repeating the same story. But that is a good thing, finally there’s leverage to get those remaining states - 💯 that is a positive

@MikeDzikowski @DraftKings I mean betting will be available nationwide under predictions... we don't have to talk about when are we gonna get CA, TX, or FL anymore

A nothing burger of a @DraftKings investor day is here. Sure this is a foundational move here to bring apps under one single point of interaction and one download. Great, awesome. But again, it’s more of the same bullshit story. Kick the can down the road… Nothing new, nothing truly exciting and just again underwhelming. @JasonDRobins you gotta do better…or hire someone who can. @DKSportsbook @stoolpresidente @contessabrewer $DKNG @DraftKings

And it’s a separate app - I wish they could/would have it under the same @DKSportsbook app and have all other markets gated or disable by state where OSB is not legal. That way if one of the states goes legal they just enable the OSB feature and customers don’t have this separate app and friction. $DKNG @DraftKings @DKSportsbook @JasonDRobins
