@GotNotGot Pretty much the spot where Palace and Shrewsbury fans got stuck in circa 1975, fighting stopped when a streaker ran across the pitch!

@theballisround @WhitbyTownFC That’s me in the orange coat, back row, in with the rowdy bunch in the stand. What did you make of the visit? Excellent visiting support, wonderful stand, great game for the neutral, amazing goal, crazy own goal, mad misses!

Memories! Action pics in August 1991 v Merthyr, George Wood asked ‘his long left mate?’ and pic ended up on a Team Talk cover. Saw Swans there and got @LeeTrundle10 ‘s autograph during warm up!

York Street former home of Boston United yesterday, I am fortunate to get these photographs as the demolition company are parked up outside. I visited three times and never really got any exterior shots. You won't get in. @MikeFloate @Beckton86 @gloverscast @NonLeagueCrowd

@SUFC_History @SUFCRootsHall @PeterRMiles So sad, Pete did three books for me, the first person to get in touch after I started publishing back in 1995. I’ll have a number of his amazing Blinding Floodlights book for sale at the Northern Hop hopefully and all proceeds will be going to the charity his family nominate.

@talok253 I was 25 in 1980. Envious? The start of the problems you are experiencing. It was my parents and their like not my generation that voted Thatcher in!

Look at the generational difference… Your parents at 25: - Married - House - 2 kids - Stable career You at 25: - Survive… Show more

Any ideas about where this was taken? Kids in Welsh costumes so likely in Wales? No clues on the card. @CollinsWFM

@marchamjack The rows of seats in the stand were steep, the terrace below did continue out that far too. The terracing was very shallow and under the stand the view was awful. Stood there just once, International v Luxembourg with a 5-0 win circa 1975.

Came across this photo (colourised?) on another site and never seen it before. Did the West Terrace come out that far (or is the double decker an earlier, shorter version of the last one)? When’s it from? Leave it there for discussion…
