🏆 TOMORROW: Our final game of the 2025/26 season as we host Ferryhill Town at Perth Green. Trophy lift will be after full time. Massive thanks to Susan & Alice Collier, Glow Tanning Station & Hughes Hospitality for sponsoring the fixture! PACK PERTH GREEN! 🏟️

Time for a special end-of-season award, today! We all know the importance of volunteers in non-league football, and some of them are simply outstanding for their efforts. I am awarding this to TWO of our superb volunteers in the Northern League. The first needs little introduction to anyone with any knowledge of the league @LeeJarraHackle is Mr @jarrow_fc and does so much, not just for the club, but for his local community, too. Using the Red Hackle pub as a base, he hosts away fans, sponsors the club, helps out wherever he can, pays for kids to get into matches free whenever the Northern League insists on payment for entry, and even laid on free curry and chips for guests in his pub before Jarra's recent playoff semi-final. What a man! Our second volunteer of the year is a man who I am grateful is still with us! Having spent months in the hospital and nearly leaving us, @ontimedave is back doing what he loves, helping out at @westaucklandfc He was there for the recent @NorthernHop2026 with the Sir Thomas Lipton replica trophy, wearing a period costume. (Please send in your photos if you have any of Dave in the old West Auckland kit with coal dust on his face.) Dave is a personal friend, and I am so pleased to see him back working behind the scenes at Darlington Road Next season, I will be asking for clubs to nominate a volunteer whom we can all vote on. However, for this season, I'm confident I have picked two of the most deserving people for the award and would like to personally thank both of them for all their efforts! 👏👏
