Bring up this situation from 7 years ago or that situation from 4 years ago or this situation from 2 years ago as "evidence" is similar to the "don't kick field goals" analytic crowd. No two situations are the same. Get over it.
This is an incredibly easy and simple concept to understand. But I guess with how the world is today, you have to be FULLY against something or FULLY with something and then (literally) bash anyone who disagrees.

Enough of the “Sonny Styles at Pick 5” bullshit, at this point. Sonny Styles’ 90th percentile outcome is Devin Lloyd. Devin Lloyd not only just hit free agency, but he got $15M a year for only 3 years. If you draft Sonny Styles at Pick 5, he’ll be making $11.5M a year for the next 4 years. And, if you’re doing a redraft in, say, 5 years… how good does Sonny Styles have to be, as an off-ball LB, to go at Pick 5 in that redraft??? Fucking Fred Warner??? The odds of any prospect becoming that elite are crazy slim, even a guy like Styles. It just makes zero sense to take him that high.
