good work by the dolphins getting all that draft capital as they rebuild their roster. waddle is 12th in APY among WRs so this frees up some cash and cap as well for the broncos they’re getting an elite separator and someone who ranked 10th in YPRR last year. it’s a lot of draft picks to give up but their pass catcher group needed some juice like this

it’s funny that the “sam darnold jump” is now the new “josh allen leap” it can happen as we’ve seen darnold, baker mayfield and daniel jones all be first round picks who had success in new environments. however, there’s a reason there’s one name attached to it and it’s not called something like “the year five surge”

@ilannfl18 yeah might have been a slight overpay but they badly needed EDGE help and it’s not like you can usually get elite players at premium positions in free agency anyways

@tejfbanalytics Don’t love Oweh (good money for non elite premium position in FA) but the rest has been done very well. Cross and Chenal my favorites

really impressed with the commanders free agency: - odade oweh could be a very high end pass rusher for them - k’lavon chaisson got a lot of pressure last year and continues to improve - leo chenal is an extremely versatile linebacker - nick cross is a great blitzer + run defender - rachaad white was great value - chig could be fun in the offense!
