Today, our @ONgov announced a $10.9 million investment to build a brand‑new addition to St. Boniface Catholic Elementary School. Once complete, this expansion will create space for 262 students and help support the needs of this growing community.

Today our government has proposed changes to the Highway Traffic Act to allow single drivers to use high‑occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes during off‑peak hours. This means less time in traffic, more movement on our roads, and smarter use of our infrastructure.

Today I joined municipalities across Southwestern Ontario for a symposium on legacy oil and gas wells.  
By working together, we can better protect our communities against risks and to move forward with our Legacy Oil and Gas Action Plan to support our municipal partners.

Great start to the week in Ottawa, meeting with my federal counterparts, Minister Thompson and Minister Hodgson. Alongside Minister @KevinHollandMPP, we’re continuing to build momentum for natural resource sectors while delivering results for our fishery and forestry industries.

We must work together to protect the good paying jobs in Ontario’s forestry sector. 
 Great to join Minister @DavidPiccini to announce the $223M Canada-Ontario Tariff Response. This fund will help workers access the training and skills needed to build a resilient forestry sector

Met with the @LampreyControl in Ottawa today. Fisheries along Great Lakes generate nearly $5 billion annually and attract millions of anglers from across Canada & the US. Protecting our lakes is a shared responsibility and we must work together to keep our fisheries strong.

The annual PDAC conference brings the world’s mining leaders to Ontario. The conversations and ideas shared throughout the week demonstrated the momentum behind our plan to unlock the critical minerals in the Ring of Fire.
