I am okay with spending money on good food for our troops. They have to survive on MRE’s for months on end, while receiving a minimal salary, not to mention risking their lives everyday. Democrats are stupid to make this an issue. They are silent about $19 billion in fraud under the watch of their VP candidate, Tim Walz. But, ffs, they are pissed that we feed our troops good food once in a while. Fuck them, every fucking one of them. I haven’t even mentioned the amount of money they prioritize for illegal immigrants.

My son recently had a cavity. Took him to the dentist, who extracted it. That dentist visit cost $2400. My insurance covered $250, so we owe $2,150 out of pocket. I pay $612/month for family dental and health insurance. Something seems broken.

I opted out of my company's dental insurance. My portion was only $40 per month. I have 1 dentist appointment per year, and maybe have a cavity every other year. The checkup and cleaning costs about $200. To fix the cavity costs about $300. Since I only have a cavity every other year, my annual costs without insurance are $350. If I paid my share of the insurance it would be $480. I save $130 per year by opting out of the insurance. I take advantage of our flex plan, so I would get the same tax advantages on the $350 verse the $480. $612 per month is asinine! Dump the insurance.
