More than likely gonna be his last season with Hendrick, let alone possibly his career. Injuries these past couple of years. Concussion on 2022, Broken Vertebrae in 2023, that Michigan hit in 2025. This just feels like it’s it.

Ives ran Jr's Daytona 500 entry and it was actually competitive (unlike the 48) before crashing while in the lead. There's no reason he couldn't be come back to finish the season and gauge the competitiveness of the car, team and Alex.
