They can’t get the power conference teams to schedule them so they will never have the same quality wins as power conference teams that finished in the bottom third of their conference.

Congratulations to Chris Wright! He will do a great job at Ireton. His high basketball IQ and tremendous work ethic will make the transition from player to coach easy for him. I saw him diagram a game winning play last weekend in Richmond. Impressive!

Bishop Ireton has named Chris Wright as their new head basketball coach. A former St. John’s (DC) & Georgetown standout point guard, Wright gets his first opportunity as a head coach in the WCAC. Currently coaching @dcassaulthoops 17s, he’ll bring plenty of knowledge from his lengthy professional career + the experience he’s had over the last couple of years.

Sad news.😢 Bob was instrumental in my hiring at age 26 to coach at my alma mater, Catholic University. He marred Maggie & and I(when he was still a priest) and became a close friend. Bob touched so many lives, including mine. One of the 3 men Moe was named after! R.I.P. Bob❤️🙏🏻

Coach Hahn was the best! He used to let me stay in his hotel room when we were on the road recruiting because I was at schools with very small recruiting budgets. Taught me a lot about basketball and life. Can’t believe it has been 3 years. R.I.P. Billy! ❤️🙏🏻
