Basement apartments, tiny homes and 2 bedroom condos aren’t gonna cut it folks. Been saying this for several years now. I’m tired of my friends leaving for the house they want at the price they can afford and willingness to commute or work hybrid/online easily now. When young people leave they take their skill set with them, their local volunteerism, charitable giving and more. Cities can be attractive all they want with parks, trails, amenities and so on…but if we don’t balance it with providing housing for families, it’s all for nothing. #HousingCrisis

@CheriDiNovo So what is going to be done ? Repeat all the failed behaviours? Why has the government not built expandable capacity ie field units to handle surges. This is not going away so we cannot expect a fixed capacity to deal with this.

The core values of the Green Party oblige us to prioritize and promote the peaceful resolution of conflicts. Advocating for escalation of the conflict - by, for example, sending yet more weapons to #Ukraine - cannot be reconciled with @CanadianGreens’ values.
