EDR (Event Data Recorder) a car's black box has been reliably collecting data for years in several important areas of driving. But new cars are collecting data across thousands of fields. What happens when the EDR and VPD (Vehicle Performance Data) don't tell the same story?

Yet another point we feel strongly about: NHTSA’s enforcement strategy must be proactive. Currently they evaluate automated vehicle(AV) technology after an accident allowing unreasonable risk to occur on public roads.
