The best advice I received before choosing the path of becoming a ghostwriter was “learning copywriting” I was not learning copywriting because I wanted to use it as a back up skill in case I fail as a Ghostwriter, or because I wanted to sound like a sales expert in my content. Here is the reason; To attract a quality audience and clients, you need a strong compelling voice. Let me describe it as that small element that will make them get stuck on your page. This post is not about how to become a copywriter, it is very far from that. We are trying to achieve one thing, how to become a better writer. Let's begin with the first element; ✍️Tell a story: Growing up my Dad used to be a salesman who ran his own business. One thing I learnt from him was how he would engage customers with deep conversations, tell them all kinds of stories about his business. It was not unprofessionalism, but a way to make them comfortable, most of them would even laugh at his stories. One thing always clicked, they will buy and still return again. As a writer your personal story is obviously your cheat code, get readers comfortable and you will build trust, your messages will be passed across in the most seamless way Believe me they will obviously return for more😄 ✍️Make your readers the superior beings: There is this popular saying in business; "Customers are always right". Let's rephrase this into the writer's world. "Your audience are important beings" Without even at least one person reading this post, then the whole essence is pointless. Readers are your customers, as a Ghostwriter one of your mission is to convert readers to potential clients. To achieve this, you have to place them at the centre of your writing. Building trust with your audience will definitely set you up as an outstanding writer who knows how to get the job done. If you still treat readers as just guests visiting your page then you are doing it wrong, they are part of the circle. ✍️Promise outcome, not just learning: Starting off as a writer I would visit the big creator page. Wait! Do you think I was there just to learn? I was more interested in their outcomes, and experiences. How they passed different phases, how they unlocked a better understanding of their niche. I will tell you this for free, your outcomes are basically what makes people want to engage with your content, let's see it as the real description of authority. @VikTorSmart_ will say don't just sell content, sell outcomes too, they are like two sides of a coin that makes you stand out. ✍️Frame the problem, then educate solution: This phrase caught my attention when I started off as a jobber in the space “Clients will only pay for your service if you have the solution to their problems” SIMPLE!!! What has kept a lot of writers and creators going is their ability to point out challenges, and give solutions to them. They focus on top problems faced by brands and founders, and present solutions. This actually shows a deep level of understanding towards your niche. 🖋️ Writing is actually easy when you understand these better ways of doing it. You are writing for humans, you definitely have to include elements that would attract humans in your contents.

I’m done with crypto. Actually, I'm done this time. I can’t do it anymore. So I quit. It was nice business with you all Now I just play games with my wife. Way less stress. And if everything crashes, I just cuddle and eat. Life is good 😀 First game’s live

@MikeRandevoo Chads need to learn this from you. When I transitioned here, I learned this from my coach so I always share my story and document my journey. Most times, my replies turns out to be my content because I always share my perspective. I've never lacked ideas.

My writing became better when I realise I didn't have to look too far to get content ideas. Things around me, my personal experience and adventures were good enough to send across a strong message. I made this mistake for a long time, I wrote contents as though I was writing a physics text book. You would stroll up immediately because there was nothing catchy about my hook, the contents were packed with too many facts you might even doze off while reading. No personality trait introduced, zero storytelling abilities. My first ever Web3 client ghosted me after forwarding the first document, no explanation, just complete silence. My mistake; I was too straight forward, the content felt too generic, it had no life, no feelings at all So what changed? I came to the realization that I was writing for human consumption, so if I was writing for humans I have be human to bring the flow If I wanted emotions, I have to be emotional to let them feel it, If I want them to feel my personality, then I should be able to create that impression of how I wanted to see seen and perceived. ✍️Storytelling is the game changer we are need to scale up, it improved; ➡️ Relatability ➡️ Better understanding ➡️ Catches interest ➡️ The perfect hook When I started building on X I admired storytellers a whole lot, there was always something different about their contents. You don't just read, you feel the message right beneath your skin. Today I am a better writer because, I write what I feel, I write what I see, the experience and possible outcomes are what motivates most contents

Nobody's telling you this, but the problem you're facing isn't content. It's bad replies. Your replies don't sound authentic & that's a problem. The pic below is a proof of what a good reply can do. It can turn a stranger into a follower or even a client. Be a reply guy📌

Today I turn 24. At 20-21, I was a mess. No direction. No meaning. Just vibes. Failed at software. Failed at SMMA. But SMMA did one thing. It introduced me to writing. So I wrote. Then kept writing. Then couldn't stop. Right now? Happiest I've ever been. Wrote a children's book. Starting the second Working with 3 clients. 24 looks nothing like I expected. Turns out that's the best part. Happy birthday to me.

I was talking to a friend within the weekend and he told me I am scared to start. I burst in serious laughter Knowing I started off even with more doubts, For real man those thoughts will always be there, Failure wants you to believe even if you cannot see if eventually you will fail and also success wants you to believe even if the path is still blurry It's our choice to make.

@VikTorSmart_ Don't over think it Vik, most of them follow a template. I have Done SMM in web2 and you basically have to follow a template. The crazy side is that 80% of those brands die because there is no life in their contents.

From a mile away, I can spot a page handled by a social media manager The content is so predictable - Perfect punctuation - Perfect grammar - Perfect formatting - Generic meme posts every friday - Community engagement post on Saturday.. lmao - On Monday: “Happy new, let's crush this week” - Posts a content to seek validation then ends with: “Do you agree?” 0 personality 0 raw opinions Everything's so polished it feels like Chatgpt’s handwork No room to be flexible No room to say what you actually think Just safe content Why ? Because SM managers are hired to follow brand guidelines They're taught to: - Post consistently - Avoid controversy - Stay on-brand (that's boring buddy) - Get numerous approvals before posting & it must have lost its depth before getting to the TL Listen friend.. A founder-led content should: - Be raw & unfiltered - Be authoritative - Sound like a human - Have opinions - Be willing to piss people off (just like what you're reading rn) - Get remembered That's why founders who post themselves or get super good ghostwriters/co-writers get 10x more results than their SM manager ever could

Finding a skilled Social Media Manager is literally finding a gem SMM role gets easily overlooked these days but it’s never an easy role at all, It goes beyond just managing pages and making engagement like web3 makes it look. A skilled social media manager moves from A-Z research on project, to competitive research Finding gaps, understanding trends & narrative and finding best ways to amplify project proposition. Beyond this, No one talks about the silent burden of holding yourself accountable to a monthly KPI that has to be reached. Or breaking down technical concept in the simplest form to understand. A Social Manager is an expert with inbuilt knowledge on: ⎷ Copywriting ⎷ Designing ⎷ Marketing ⎷ Community management e.t.c Takes a lot to do what we do, so for all SMM out there, This is a special shout-out post for you The space will catch up soon 💎

@OnatAksaray They talk so much about consistency, but never tell that to be consistent you need a system. Not a content plan or calendar but it know when you have to switch You can consistently do the wrong thing for a year and remain invincible Later we blame the system.

Everyone says "just be consistent on X." I know people who have posted for 1+ years. Result? 0 clients. 2-3 likes per post. 200-300 followers. Probably half of them are bots.. Then I learned something: People don't scroll for free. They spend "attention credits." Your post better be worth it. Quality + Quantity.

People talk a whole lot about consistency, what I fear most about it is consistently doing the wrong thing. You talked about building a system, man that is is At some point I realise my brand will need that system, I had to understand there are phases to this growth thing Thank you for sharing this Kevin ❤️

Posting consistently is hard without a system. It's easy when you have one. Consistency isn't a motivation problem. It's a process problem. So fix the process: Build templates. Repurpose ideas. Batch your writing. Stop winging it. Build a system.

What's happening to you ? Why are clients not reaching out to you ? Why are you not getting Inbounds ? What's the problem ? It's simple It's who you target : Who you reply to The profiles you click on Who you hit the like button on Who you speak to in your content ---------- How do you expect to get leads when it's the same creator circle everyday ? Most creators and writers are broke . Founders and business owners are the only guys that can pay you Creators : let's do 28% commission on every deal I close - $200 deal 💔💔 Founders : When do I expect results That's why your timeline should be like mine : → Agency owners → Luxury founders → Ecom guys → Product Designers → Crypto founders → Trading Ceos → Friends -------------- So stop complaining This is how your mentors get Inbounds → Same way I get Inbounds too It's not just about their Authority Destroy and rebuild your timeline now Stop limiting yourself

Systems are a MUST if youvintend to buikd a brand a 2026 One thing I notice when I look at many early stage founder accounts: The posting is completely random. Monday: product update Thursday: motivational quote Next week: thread about crypto markets Then silence for two weeks. Then you notice that nothing connects. ➠No direction ➠No narrative ➠No rhythm It feels like content not communication. That’s why when I work with founders, we build a simple system before writing anything. Not more posts, just structure. Every piece of content answers four things: • What idea are we reinforcing? • What narrative are we building? • What type of post is this? • What do we want the audience to understand after reading it? This literally gives us direction on how we set your brand to run. When that structure exists, content stops feeling random. Your voice becomes recognizable. Your thinking compounds. Your audience understands what you stand for. Consistency is not about posting more. It’s about posting with direction.

My biggest mistake wasn’t getting scammed. It was what I did after. I came into Web3 with a revenge mindset. All I cared about was making back the 2 months salary I lost to a fake mentorship. So I chased everything fast. Thread writer → content marketer → content strategist → Web3 marketer. 3 months of switching niches every time I saw someone winning somewhere else. Zero results. Zero traction. Zero money. What actually changed everything? When I saw someone who came into Web3 AFTER me already getting results. That one didn’t sit right with me. I stopped chasing. I picked one lane. Reply-guying ,but not the way everyone else was doing it. The long game I was warned about but ignored? I finally started playing it. 12 months later I’m glad I got scammed. Because it pushed me to find what actually works.

@VikTorSmart_ To be honest most big pages out there built themselves around controversy. Being a people pleaser will definitely make you look like them and people will see you as one of them. Maybe it's time to start cooking some portion of controversy contents 😁

Last year, I lost some acquaintances because of my opinions They felt attacked by my takes.. lol And honestly ? It's the best thing that ever happened to my brand If you're scared to express your real thoughts cos you don't want to lose followers.. You'll eventually lose yourself If your content isn't: - Shifting beliefs - Provoking thought - Repelling some people You're still a people pleaser Nice people stay stuck Controversy wins Your brand is too safe
