In our region we've declared conservative operations in the @SWEPCoNews portion of our balancing authority area from midnight Aug. 27 through midnight Aug. 29. Conservative ops indicates SPP may expand unit commitment time frames & enforce other reliability safeguards as needed.

Our thoughts are with our neighbors @MISO_Energy and @ERCOT as they prepare for direct impacts from #HurricaneLaura. We're ready to provide support as needed and are developing multiple contingency plans to keep power flowing in our own region.
