I’ve had a lot of people reach out to me, checking in on me and I appreciate you guys a lot🫶 Truth is, we put on a brave face, make jokes of the situation, laugh in front of the cameras, but deep down I think this situation has fucked me up & im just gonna admit it publically. Since leaving my government job in January this year to pursue trading full time, I have grinded insane hours, working 13+ hours a day and over the weekend on other side hustles trying to make this work. I couldn’t of done it without @cs2_coco but he knows that. To put it plainly, I, like a lot of traders were massively over-invested. The nature of cash trading is that the more money you have the more money you make, so I put every penny I had that I didn’t need to stay afloat into it. That money is dwindling at a rapid rate, as of today we’re looking at 70% of it gone. It sucks, is it my fault? Ofcourse, but nobody and I mean nobody expected valve to drop an economic massacre. I think regardless of the effect the update will have on the market, when you are in control of a market cap as big as CS, dropping updates like this out of the blue is nonsensical and dangerous. Look at the suicides already happening in china. Long story short, I’m not going anywhere, I will rebuild. I came from nothing I can do it again. But please, if you are the people commenting that we deserve it for being overinvested, please use your little brain and understand that you have to take risks to invest in your business. Have some compassion for the people who have lost today. love yall, Vqlt
