When did some people suddenly decide to dislike Teyana Taylor? Was it after her Golden Globe win? Was it when she became Oscar nominated? Was it when she started to achieve even more success? The shift feels so… weird.

@RichardERoeper This should have been eliminated years ago. It was the easy cut when they wanted to trim the show down, but instead those years the took entire categories off the show. It’s tone deaf to what the audience cares about…no one wants scripted nonsense.

Suggestion for next year’s Oscars: Eliminate the scripted and often painfully unfunny presenters banter. Just walk out and say, “Here are the nominees for…” and get to it. That would free up an extra 10–15 minutes total time for the winners’ acceptance speeches.
