I am excited to announce my commitment to continue my academic studies and track career at the University of North Florida. I want to thank Coach Saunders for helping me put myself in this position and Coach Wells for making UNF feel like home. I also want to thank all the coaches who recruited me and saw my potential. A huge thank you to Coach Walker for introducing me to track, and to my former high school track coaches Robertson and Helem for giving me a platform to showcase my talent during my freshman and sophomore years. To all my teachers and college advisor, thank you for constantly encouraging me to excel in the classroom too. Your guidance has been invaluable. Finally, I want to thank my family, in particular my mom, who attended every meet, sacrificing her evenings and weekends for me when she could have been doing anything else. Your love and support means everything. With that being said Go Ospreys! 🦅

I really dont think 95% of society realizes how hard it is to play any sport at any level in college.

Reality of college recruiting: D1: ~2% D2: ~2% NAIA: ~3% D3: ~3% Juco: ~7% It is a privilege to get the opportunity to play college sports at ANY level. Take your recruitment seriously.

When they cut to commercial during an 8 minute race:

Attention all schools If you are building an area indoor track Please consider the spectators, coaches, and athletes Build stands for spectators to be able to see everything Have areas for coaches to be able to coach their athletes and see the competition Have adequate warm up space for each event. We can’t have mosh pits to try to warm up for the sprints and hurdles
