One of the unintended consequences of @Gov_NB 's policy - banning people from walking on crown land - is that it reduced (for 8 days) the opportunity for an 84-year-old man to be found when he got his truck stuck on a logging road. It's a miracle he was found alive!

@cbcwatcher The same thing happened in the Freedom convoy in Ottawa. These (nazi/confederate flags) shenanigans enabled the Liberals to escalate the false rhetoric of "domestic terrorism" to justify people getting killed and freezing the assets of people who supported their critics.

CBC runs the same report on the dirty tricks campaign as yesterday. Kate McKenna inexplicably excluded the names of those Liberal war room employees responsible for the disinformation campaign "Two operatives went to the conference and planted these buttons." "And in an attempt to tie Conservative supporters to the politically toxic Donald Trump." CBC needs to update the story with names, details and the inadequate Liberal response/justification to the crime @CBCNews

What are the costliest problems across past 120 years and next 30? Let's get a sense of proportion. Life is getting better. And climate isn't the end-of-the-world. Read my peer-reviewed article: sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

The Liberal plan to revoke the charitable status of religious organizations is an assault on people of faith across Canada. 40% of the 85,600 charities in Canada are religious organizations. These are organizations that feed the hungry, support the elderly, rally around people in crisis, provide addiction recovery services – and this is just the tip of the iceberg. It is quite honestly disgusting that the Liberals would try to sneak in this unconscionable attack in a Finance Committee report, just before Parliament prorogued. A Cardus study shows that if these charities lose their status, Canadians would lose $16.5B in services.

@globalnews Even though this has been proven to be moot point, it shows how that the reporting has been duplicitous. Why doesn’t the headline say “India targeted Pierre”? That would be consistent with the way CTV reported “China targeted Carney“ (which has proven to be consequential).

Read this for the next time the Liberals claim the Harper government got no new pipelines built.
Peter Csillag@petercsillag

Demonstrably false. The Carney Liberal campaign is trying to claim that “nothing could get built” during the Harper CPC government years. In reality, amongst others: ✅ Kinder Morgan’s Anchor Loop project, 40,000 barrels per day increased capacity. NEB approval 2006, cabinet approval 2006, in service 2008. ✅ TC’s original Keystone pipeline, 435,000 barrels per day new capacity. NEB approval 2007, cabinet approval 2007, in service 2010. ✅ TC’s Cushing expansion, with 156,000 barrels per day new capacity. NEB approval 2008, in service 2010. ✅ The Line 9B reversal project, 300,000 barrels per day, replacing foreign oil. NEB approval 2014, in service 2015. ✅ The Alberta Clipper, 450,000 barrels per day new capacity. NEB approval 2008, cabinet approval 2008, in service 2010. ✅ The first phase of Enbridge’s Clipper Expansion Project added 120,000 barrels per day of expanded capacity. NEB approval 2013, in service 2013. ✅ The second phase of Enbridge’s Clipper Expansion Project added 230,000 further barrels per day of expanded capacity. NEB approval 2014, in service 2014. ✅ The Line 4 Extension Project created 880,000 barrels per day of new capacity. NEB approval 2008, cabinet approval 2008, in service 2009. ✅ Enbridge’s Edmonton to Hardisty project, 570,000 barrels per day new capacity. NEB approval 2015, cabinet approval 2015, in service 2015. There are others too, but you get the point. There was enough confidence in the industry pre-2015 that multiple major national tidewater projects were proposed in good faith: TMX, Northern Gateway, Keystone XL, and Energy East. Of those, only TMX happened, under government ownership, after the private sector proponent was harassed into abandoning it. Today’s resource chokehold is the result of the anti-growth regulatory agenda implemented by the Liberal government after November 2015.

I wonder if Canadian liberal voters will ever wonder why it is the only thing they know about mark carney is that he’s the “economist saviour we need”. Or ask themselves why they weren’t more curious to learn who the heck this random guy whose name they didn’t know 4 months ago is—and how he is prime minister?

WATCH —Mark Carney talking about how much more money he can make investing in China compared to Canada: "it wont surprise you that yields in China are considerably higher than those in Canada" How financially exposed is Mark Carney to the CCP? We don't know. He's covering it up.

PIPELINE BOMBSHELL 🚨 Brookfield — where Mark Carney holds deep ties — is set to acquire Colonial Pipeline, the largest fuel pipeline in the U.S. You really think Carney will ever approve new pipelines in Canada now? Of course not. He’s not here to compete with the U.S. — he’s here to protect American interests. Why do you think Donald Trump endorsed Mark Carney. This is exactly why Canada’s energy sector has been handcuffed for a decade. Wake up

Today, PM @MarkJCarney announced an ambitious Liberal housing plan that will double Canada’s current rate of residential construction over the next decade to reach 500K homes per year, improving the housing market so that more Canadians can buy their first home. #CanadaStrong🇨🇦
