@MartinSLewis Why should people have to pay for other families children. If you can’t afford children, then why encourage people to have them? How will this end child poverty. It’s not as though this money will go to the children? People should have personal responsibility.

@paullewismoney Ah No it’s doesn’t save any money at all. A train fare this year costs the same as next year. Spot spinning it as a saving.

Chancellor pre-announces that regulated rail fares in England will not rise next year. Normally they increase in March by at least last July’s RPI inflation which was 4.8%. The freeze will save some passengers £hundreds. NB many rail fares NOT regulated and will probably rise

@TheGazette So how does this work if I tap in during peak time but get an off peak train? Example: Tap in at 9.00 am at Witham when planning to get 9:15 (first off peak train); there are 2 trains after 9.00 and before 9:15.

@Ryanair All sat on the FR6610 to Kefalonia and we get a 45 minute delay at 6.00 am, one of the first flights out of the day. Glad I got up at 3.00 am to seat on a plane which is going nowhere.
