Another lesser known LDS church history story. So cool! 1831 Zerah Pulsipher (a former Baptist minister) is alone threshing grain in his barn when a bright ray of light descends from heaven. Another light appears right above his head. He looks up and sees angels holding the Book of Mormon, showing it to him and declaring: “This is the great revelation of the last days in which all things spoken of by the prophets must be fulfilled.” The vision hits him so powerfully he starts walking the length of the barn, shouting “Glory hallelujah to God and the Lamb forever!” for some time. Soon after, he joins the Church, baptizes a young Wilford Woodruff (future President of the Church), becomes one of the original Seven Presidents of the Seventy, leads a pioneer company west, and serves faithfully until his death in 1872 in southern Utah. For those who think that the Church's billions would be better used in government hands, I give you BYU Hawaii and the Polynesian Cultural Centers. Pacific Island students get an education paid for by working at the PCC. Tourists get a great cultural experience. Pacific Island culture gets preserved. Everybody wins. No one in government is smart enough to think of this. All government knows is force - tax, bomb, and arrest.

My tux was not nearly as flashy as Eric’s, but I did rent a very subtle tux My wedding was in 2012 and I think the tux to suit phase transition was just beginning What did you all wear and what year?

Is it lame to say where it all began? The First Vision profoundly impacts me each time I read it.

Only two more months until the Jedi Order (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) sends me, a prospective Jedi Knight (Elder of the Melchezidek priesthood), to fight in the Clone Wars (Gathering of Israel) on Geonosis (Chile)
