There are baggage delivery services at the airport (Yamato is a major one) that will deliver your luggage. Just drop the bag and tell them when/where and they deliver. It’s an amazing thing that I’ve only see in Japan. Hotels in Japan will transfer your luggage so you don’t have to take it on the train.
