@lighthousejerry @JakePearson303 Totally false. Statins reduce plaque, dementia is categoried as plaque of the brain, the actual studies done have shown a reduction in dementia in statin users. Remember the brain barrier, it prvents most drugs from reaching the brain, plus the brain creates its own cholesteral

So I agree with you on the 4% have side effects, but I have 100% did not agree about the dementia part if anything statins are contributing to much higher instances of dementia than we’ve seen in the past, because they’re reducing overall cholesterol to the brain, particularly human, derived cholesterol
