@Mikegolf83 If you're using a native navigator (backed by react-native-screens), you'll need to wrap your screens with ReactNativeGrabScreen. If that doesn't resolve the issue, please open an issue. I'd be curious to see what Claude came up with 🤔

If you're a React Native developer, you can get a similar tool by installing react-native-grab. It's not as powerful yet, but it's still super useful when working with agents.

My current agentic workflow is about 5x faster, better quality, I understand the system better, and I’m having fun again. My previous workflows have left me exhausted, overwhelmed, and feeling out of touch with the systems I was building. They also degraded quality too much. This is way better. I’m not ready to describe in detail. It’s still evolving a bit. But I’ll give you a high level here. I call this the Night Shift workflow.

@ChmalSzymon Claude point me to where the issue was and helped me come up with a fix, but not sure if it would break other use cases. I can file an issue and paste the patch that got it working for me if it helps

@ChmalSzymon Been trying this @ChmalSzymon, I really like it. Had some issues with my configuration (react-navigation not expo router), more specifically with screens inside a bottom tab navigator. The grabbed area on those screens is misaligned (see picture)

@jamonholmgren Totally agree about software development, it's more alive than ever. But I have a feeling that a lot of codebases will blow out, and hand coding will come back mainly from an accountability stand point

@Mikegolf83 Oh I don't mind! Yeah it's not just evolving, IMO, it's transformed. Hand coding is dead. But software development is alive and well.

In my 20 years of consulting, you wouldn’t believe how many times I’ve been told urgent deadlines that ended up being fake. Now I ask for details on why a deadline is real. Is there an event this will be used at? Are you preparing for the start of the school year? What exactly is the deadline based on? Otherwise it’s fake and I’ll just proceed at the best possible sustainable speed.

Has anybody vibe coded their way into product market fit? From the top of my dome: Claude Code: founded in 2024 as an internal tool by @bcherny who prototyped it at Anthropic and within a week nearly half of developers there were using it. Long considered their moat, eventually it was decided to release it to the public. After being so successful internally, this dogfooded product had already found a market fit among the devs and it spread like wildfire. OpenClaw: This tool by @steipete initially named ClawdBot, then at Claude legal department’s request renamed to MoltBot, and eventually OpenClaw along with acquisition by OpenAI and MoltBook by Meta, was another success story that was made real by granting AI executive power, just like Claude Code. These two vibe coded tools share a lot of similarities - they are AI harnesses that give the models that run them agentic power, in other words, permission to edit files autonomously. Any other vibe coded tools found a product market fit?
