We're rolling out a small tweak to boost visibility of your posts to your mutuals (people who you follow back).
We noticed this data was missing from the algo and it made your friends appear less in your replies. This resulted in the reply section feeling more like a battleground with people you don't recognize.
This should also help clusters form around interests more easily, which many people have asked for.

Nitro gets talked about mostly in terms of speed. In this interview, @mrousavy gets into the part that matters just as much: native state, stateful objects, Vision Camera, Nitro Image, and WebGPU textures ⬇️

Another clip of my exploration work around gesture-driven navigation in bottom sheets (trays), recorded on a physical device this time. (Looks smoother and shows interruptibility better.)
Built with @expo UI, react-native-ease, gesture handler, and reanimated.

@ChVanBoven We had a few Rust projects too, basically bridging Nitro C++ bindings to existing Rust libraries. Works quite well :)

50% of the stuff we do at Margelo is C++ work nowadays
Dmitrii Kovanikov@ChShersh
Meanwhile, many companies are struggling to find good C+ devs. The job market for C++ has never been better.

@hey_starprince @wcandillon Cameras can record in 10bit YUV, so colors have wider range, brighter whites and darker blacks :)

@wcandillon This capability is really incredibly. What use case could come out of this?

i’ve known @o_kwasniewski for 5 years.
we met when i was 15, working at a small polish company. we had no clue what mobile or react native really was, but we somehow had two apps to maintain.
so we learned it together.
then we both joined @callstackio, which was a game changer for us. we got to work with many us-based clients and learned how great developer tools are built. also started posting on X then.
over the last 5 years, we worked together across 3 different companies.
at some point, we knew we wanted to build something ourselves.
we tried a few things. b2c apps, consumer products, random ideas. most of them failed.
but we knew one thing: we understood dev tools, and we cared a lot about building the best developer experience.
so we applied to YC.
we got in, @koomen gave us a chance, and today @TesterArmy serves 40+ companies, from seed-stage startups to unicorns, helping them make sure their web and mobile products actually work.
the best part is that this still feels early.
there’s so much more we want to build! :)
