“Run your own race” is a battle cry often repeated at PVS. It was a great day in the lab.. energy was high !……..but Today belonged to @Mikekoho24 Michael sits 80-81 and tops 81.7 those are not earth shattering numbers, but they reflect a lot of progress from a young man who has battled being a hard gainer and some setbacks that surely ate into his confidence. But he stayed with it -kept showing up and putting down bricks day by day. To watch the boys gravitate behind him just to watch him pitch is an event (and a feeling) usually reserved for professional players or top line NCAAs & WPIALs . But the guys in the gym knew that what Michael was doing today was very unique for him…. and they started to gather 1 by 1 until Most of them left in the facility were right behind him- watching him through every pitch- and applauding what the guns and tech were reading out. Being able to feel that must’ve been really specialt for the young 2028 from South Fayette. He has battled and battled over many months and years to cross that threshold and do it convincingly. To “Hear or feel the applause” is such an important thing for a young player. Very proud of the guys in the gym at that time….some of them professional pitchers…some of them D1 commits….all of them behind Michael supporting what he was able to do today- knowing what he was doing was new to him Way to earn the tip of the 🧢 from the boys today Michael.
