Progressives claiming all black or female achievement as a victory for "DEI" is as stupid and racist/sexist as right-wingers dismissing all such achievement as "DEI."

@ronkelawal He’s hungry; in Nigeria, if the president offers a favour, they'll accept it. All is forgiven.

A powerful example of how some African leaders view the media as vehicles to further inflate their egos without being challenged so that when they are faced with true journalism they're crumble. That's why journalistic freedom is the first to be removed under dictatorships.

“I never said that.” Here is the evidence for every quote Nigeria’s presidential spokesperson Daniel Bwala denied saying in his appearance on Head to Head with @mehdirhasan. ▶️ Full episode youtu.be/ygdNgnTzl6A

@LateefSaka Christianity was adopted willingly and became embedded into our culture. Islam is a violent foreign cult and we do not want it here.

Are English people aware that Christianity, Islam and Judaism all originate from the Middle East? Christianity was once considered foreign and two men responsible for helping solidify the English Church against paganism were Theodore of Tarsus and Adrian of Canterbury, from Turkey and North Africa
James Goddard@JamesPGoddard90

English Converts Should Be Stripped Of Their Citizenship & Birthright There is nothing English or British about Islam. It belongs in the Middle East along with all of its followers.

I try my best not to be judgemental I really do but I'm actually judging some of you for allowing it to get to the stage where popular online figures are creating content to discuss issues and conditions that they have zero knowledge about. This is bad. Very bad.

Nigel Farage was out campaigning in Gorton & Denton. Keir Starmer is in Beijing. We certainly need a new Prime Minister who doesn’t prioritise China over Britain.

I finally watched One Love and I'm disappointed. A man as formidable and culturally significant as Bob Marley deserved a much better biopic depiction of his life. It was boring and lacked the depth of storytelling required to reflect his journey. A missed opportunity.

@AskMichaelTaiwo Numerous court cases have involved doctors vs Jehovah's Witnesses, particularly concerning the sanctity of life. 🤔

You cannot force someone to go against their religious beliefs. You don’t have to share that belief, but you cannot use economic power or other forms of coercion to make someone go against their religion. Jehovah’s Witnesses don’t take blood. This is based on their understanding of certain parts of the Bible. I have studied those same passages, I see their point, but don’t agree with it. Understanding is different from agreement. I can understand your point and still not agree with it. Blood transfusions are not categorically bad. Aunty Esther is a Jehovah’s Witness. She will not take blood transfusions even at the cost of her life. Any self-respecting adult should have a hill to die on. This happens to be hers. We should honor her stance rather than denigrate it. Most of the people condemning her didn’t donate a single Naira but now want to direct how the funds are used. If you donated through @Wizarab10 for Aunty Esther and found her belief so revolting that you want a refund, please share proof of your payment and I’ll personally refund your donation. Otherwise, let the woman be. And let those who want to continue donating do so. Some people have used this incident to rubbish the whole idea of religion. It’s your right to believe there’s no God or that you won’t give an account one day. People believe what they believe. But it’s wrong, perhaps even evil, to ask someone to do something against their faith just because you have some power over them. This life is not all there is.

@SholaMos1 @SholaMos1 so let’s agree for the sake of argument that he negotiated with the bandit to rescue those kids, so who should take the credit?? Your family members?? It’s how you think you’re making any sense for me. Radarada

My question to Nigerian President Tinubu - how dare you take credit for return of the abductees? What rescue mission did you command without kidnappers apprehended or terrorists arrested? Were they asleep because you paid them off - you walking embodiment of a political corpse.
