It's a giant ac system basically but instead of freon (refrigerant) it uses water and loses a lot of water in the cooling process. It's not a perfect system but it works. Refrigerant based, I think is better.

All of the designs go out for bid to multiple contractors who work in various trades. All of this is standard for the entire building industry. None of this is top secret

“They” also have a habit of……. compartmentalizing. I doubt the guys pounding the rooftops on the DC’s know about what YOU do. Highly likely you have NDA’s etc….. regarding some aspects of your work. This is all run through engineering firms and general contractors and electrical contractors who build the thing from the ground up. I've been a part of that from the very beginning. @DESERTF36697217 I don't know if these are being put in order but either way. Yes there was other types of material that was used previously to cool. It's a refrigerant based system but it's still uses the same type of radiator that pulls hot air over the coil and cools the air down in exit.

@DESERTF36697217 Yes I have ndas. There are things I can talk about and things I can't. One of the things that I can talk about is the rear door cooler. This is basically like the radiator in your car that uses water to take the hot air and change it to hot water and remove it from the system.
