Newspapers spent 20 years believing website ads would monetize better than subscriptions. They got gutted. Now every newspaper has online subscriptions, because it’s the only viable financial model for publishers. We have families to feed. I do hope @KilmarnockFC fans give Derek McInnes a respectful reception when he returns to Rugby Park with @JamTarts this weekend. He deserves it for the work he did at the club and the real Killie fans didn’t get the opportunity to acknowledge that at the end of last season.
