A word on McCann. We were facing the automatic drop square in the face when Kett got the sack. Never seen the support so unanimously negative in my 20 years of following Kilmarnock. A few January signings and a kick up the arse later, we survive. He’s the man, by the way.

Just gonny repeat what I said about Hugill earlier in the week. Wow, wow, wow. What a signing. Absolutely love the guy. Say what you want about John-Jules, and rightly so, more than played his part. But for me, Hugill is the real difference maker of the season.

Everyone thought the world was over when TJJ got injured, and rightly so. That burst of form is why we still have a chance. However, Hugill has stepped up in a MAJOR way. For this level I think he is top quality. Runs aw day and can play anaw. Long live the Daily Hugill!
