Yea i went off on a tangent there about trying to take some attention off of Leek early throughout camp & preseason, you dont want him feeling super rushed. But my main point is that he will be fine in the long run..He was 1 of the youngest players in his Draft Class & a complete athletic freak. 100s & 100s of guys have had these types of injurys..I think he'll be fine

On a 1-10 how worried you about Malik never being Malik again?

Well he seems the type you can mold..we had gotten a very raw product from Russia on & off the court..Just learning English recently..& then how much his shot improved with us..Hopefully Brooklyn shapes him to be the player we need him to be..I honestly think if he works on foot quickness agility drills & PG style ball handling drills for the next 2 or 3 summers while staying in the weight room heavy..It looks like hes bulked up already atleast 5 to 10 lbs since he got here..Add another 15 to 20lbs over next 2 to 3 yrs & i think he's going to be pretty good..The clutch shooting was encouraging as well

I’m so worried about the possibility of Malik Nabers just never being the same. He was just so elite and so fun to watch before the injury. My favorite player on the Giants, with ease. A full tear of the ACL and meniscus is gonna be really tough to come back from. I really hope he makes a full return. 🙏

@postcrabcore 5 with him actually being physically ready 8 with him being mentally healthy enough. Love Leek but I hope he’s taking care of his mental health as much a physical. Both can fall apart and affect him the same. Pray he heals fully before stepping a foot on the field tbh

Giants WR Malik Nabers underwent a second surgery on his knee to remove scar tissue that was causing stiffness, according to sources. I'm told the second surgery took place "multiple weeks ago" and it was described as a "clean up." This second surgery isn't expected to impact Nabers' recovery timeline. The team is still hoping the No. 1 WR will be ready for the opener. Nabers first underwent ACL and meniscus surgery on Oct. 28.

Yea i did..there was a bunch of cats there..Abdul probably just needed a yr to adjust to money & the league at a different level. Burns said he stays on him. One more on this dilemma… I get it — Brooklyn fans are disappointed with a second consecutive crushing lottery fall. The hope was a homegrown superstar for the first time in forever. Unfortunately, the reality is that the Nets are very likely no longer selecting in a range where a potential superstar will be. Have to acknowledge that rather than desperately shooting for the highest upside piece like Darius Acuff Jr. that has a 1% chance of being Damian Lillard or Derrick Rose. You need a superstar to win. I believe we should all acknowledge that the Nets will have no choice but to look externally for that superstar down the road. That said, the Nets should aim to build up a core of versatile players that fits a variety of different potential superstar players, accumulating a bunch of winning versatile pieces that have value around the league. Drafting someone like Acuff, who is very polarizing and requires a very specific way of team building, could limit the Nets’ flexibility moving forward.
