Hey all - I just signed in and claimed the funds - wanted to at least give a quick update. Gotta go to sleep for now, but tomorrow I'll be doing my best to explain to my team (Terraformation is partially tech people, and partially not-tech people) how this all works, but it's all good news because a bunch of strangers on the internet came together to give us money to plant trees - so I expect the news will be received well. 🌳🌳🌳 Thank you all for this quite wonderful surprise, and we'll also be sharing updates and photos of the trees once they're in the ground. In fact, we'll have a steady stream of photos and updates for everyone: you're funding a lifetime of trees and eventually the forest they will become. 🌏🌙🚀🌳

We are revising our developer API policies: We will no longer allow apps that reward users for posting on X (aka “infofi”). This has led to a tremendous amount of AI slop & reply spam on the platform. We have revoked API access from these apps, so your X experience should start improving soon (once the bots realize they’re not getting paid anymore). If your developer account was terminated, please reach out and we will assist in transitioning your business to Threads and Bluesky.
