"fun" is subjective, If a player enjoys winning matches in 30 to 60 its their right to do it.
If someone uses their skill or a strong MyFaction card to win a match in under 60 seconds, that's a literal squash match, which is a part of WWE and WWE 2K, not an exploit. #WWE2K26

Glad you posted this as it gives people some type of ball park of what to expect. It is no where close to a cheap model. We can argue “just grind” but the grind isn’t going to be made to completely undercut selling tier skips, the idea is to make a large percentage feel they need to

In NBA 2K, to skip 37 levels from level 3 (what you would need to do on #WWE2K26 if you didnt want to grind) It would cost $73 USD. At $2 per level (3 items per level) it would cost $80 to skip the entire season. Total cost for The Monday Night Wars Edition and skipping all seasons $630 USD plus tax. Thats more than the price of the console you are playing the game on. Im assuming, this will be the same route 2K is taking the WWE games. (I could be wrong)

Charging $150 for WWE 2K26, and locking content behind season pass grinds in a game that gets abandoned after a year is absolute robbery.
Same engine, minimal changes that are just basically roster and attire updates, temporary content, and zero ownership. This is predatory monetization, not “value.” Do better

So first we pay for the DLC, then we have to work to unlock it, if we dont have the time for that we pay a second time to actually use it?
How is this any better than before? This is predatory monetization, plain and simple.
Not to mention once the servers are gone in a year we cant even get it back.
People that buy these games deserve better than being charged to skip a grind they already paid to enter, like ???

@WWEgames You expect someone to potentially pay $150 and grind for the DLC features. If one decides to do this, then they basically start all over next year. The features earned more than likely won’t carryover. No thanks.

I'm a 37 year old man with 2 kids. Yes if I didn't want to pay I could spend my time grinding the "FREE" track but my time is more valuable than money and I'm not paying a premium for the privelege. It's been fun but I'm thinking these games aren't compatible my lifestyle anymore
