Here we go with another STEEP March temperature drop. From highs in the upper 70s to near 80 across the D.C. region this afternoon, and temperatures still up near or above 60 when you head to work or school Friday morning, we should fall to the 50s by about 10 a.m., then into the 40s after 2 or 3 p.m. Temperatures continue to fall Friday night, down to lows in the upper 20s to low 30s, completing a roughly 50-degree drop from this afternoon. Plan on occasional showers much of the day Friday, and winds gusting form the north around 20 to 30 mph. Rainfall doesn't look too heavy, but could range anywhere form about 0.1 to 0.5 inches.

Um, this is a pretty crazy story. A Chinese brother and sister planted a bomb near the visitors center at CENTCOM HQ in Tampa, then called it in for some reason, then fled to China, except the sister flew back to Detroit and got arrested. Also, their mom is being held by ICE.

Mayor Mamdani strongly believes in the inalienable right to protest at the front door of a Synagogue, but his own home has much more than a 50 foot buffer zone - and 24/7 police protection to enforce it. Safety and security for worshipers should be treated with no less respect.

I have no problem condemning Israeli settler violence & neither should anyone else. That these terrorizing criminals happen to be Israeli (though they actually reject the state) or Jewish does not make them any more defensible to me than an American criminal or Jewish criminal would be anywhere else. Extremist violence is bad anywhere and everywhere no matter who commits it. Those who enable or ignore extremism need to be held accountable, no matter who or where they are.

🚨 Breaking: The NYC Council voted to pass the synagogue protection bill with a veto-proof majority of 44 of 51 members. The bill to create a buffer zone for protests outside educational centers also passed, but only by a 30–19 margin — Mamdani could veto it if he chooses.

No, @washingtonpost, Dimona is not "home to a sensitive nuclear facility." The research facility is located 13 km (8 miles) away. Blurring that distinction isn’t a minor detail. It helps legitimize Iranian strikes on a civilian city where people, not legitimate targets, live.

How is Target still in business? Every single time I order something, it arrives a full week after original delivery date, or doesn’t arrive at all. TWICE they ruined my package and returned to sender, per their status page. Last order took 2 weeks. Latest hasn’t moved in a week.
