@lbtheinvestor These months are the worst, good on you for keeping the accounts alive. I haven’t gotten a funded account yet but I have been wondering when I get to that point of getting payouts how to approach these months where the edge seems to stop working.

This may look BAD like I don’t know how to trade but I’m actually skilled. Out of my 4.5 years, this has been the toughest market conditions I’ve ever traded in. Accounts are still alive after 10 RED DAYS. Live & Die by the sword ⚔️

IB and NC plays today

First bigger trade of the new year. Had a hard time with December, so I decided to take the rest of it off since so many of you guys also don't trade in the holiday season.

66% accuracy today, first trade was impulsive and broke my rule of shorting above VWAP. Second trade got some partials before price ran out of gas. Third trade was clean. Green but disappointed for breaking some rules.

A successful trader is just a loser who tried one more time. All depends on whether you’re willing to go through that losing period. It took me 4 years of losing to see success and I’m so glad I did.

Price teased me a bit before going where it's supposed to go 😂

A loss and a win, didn't wait for a deep enough retracement on the first one. Second one had almost perfect 50% retracement with fantastic delivery.

@Miles_S19 @ProbableChris @NQStats I get about 0.4r on average with a 20 to 30% win rate. I have little to no room on the winning side to hold because I can't even get 1R.

Just curious, who else made $ today using anything @NQStats related or related to the content I post? I do not share my personal strategies, only the data, concepts, stats and the broader context around my own executions. So it is always cool to see people taking the baseline building blocks and turning it into something profitable, unique to them.

What would be on your list of most deadly trading sins?

@hahayougotmad @ProbableChris @NQStats Get a spreadsheet and take your average return on each trade win/loss like how much you went into profit before getting stopped. I typically don’t trade until 1015. The stat serves well as a bias so if IB is satisfied you can still be in a trade targeting your average return

@Miles_S19 @ProbableChris @NQStats Can you give some insights on this? I have only gotten worse using NQ stats and I seem to be using them incorrectly. For example when price is very close to the expected result (say an IB high) there's no room for a trade. I don't understand how to take advantage.
